Airservices provides a number of standard historical movement data products, and is also able to consider custom data requests. This service is typically aimed at high volume requests for data.

You should note that Airservices may fulfill your request from different internal data sources which have been established to fulfill different purposes, and as such, data retrieved from an individual data source may not match those from other sources, whether those be internal or external to Airservices. In purchasing any data from Airservices, you acknowledge this, and understand that the data provided to you by Airservices is not warranted for any specific use, and any use of any data is at your own discretion.

The following key information should also be noted:

  • Details of sensitive operations as determined by Airservices (such as military and law enforcement) will be removed from any resulting data at Airservices discretion.
  • You are not permitted to commercialise any historical movement data provided unless agreed by Airservices.
  • Airservices does not permit itself to be attributed as the source of any historical movement data unless agreed by Airservices.
  • You are required to advise us of any third parties who will access the historical movement data and you must warrant and indemnify Airservices for their use of it.
  • You are required to destroy the historical movement data on expiry of the license agreement unless agreed by Airservices.

For customers seeking custom data requests, Airservices may, at its sole discretion, levy an assessment fee of $960 (including GST), where it deems the cost of assessing your application may be significant. Should you progress to purchasing the Historical Movement Data, Airservices will deduct any assessment fee paid from the resulting license fees. Should you not progress to purchasing the historical movement data, or following the assessment, Airservices advises it is unable to provide the historical movement data, the assessment fee will be non-refundable.

Fees for data products are dependent on the proposed usage of the data and the quantity of data/size of airport.
