Overview

This dataset contains data on reported vertical obstacles that are greater than or equal to 300ft above ground level (AGL) in Australia. These obstacles have been classed as either Verified or Unverified, as defined in PANS-AIM (ICAO Doc 10066) Area 1 specifications for accuracy and resolution. This data set contains data on Active (A) Proposed (P) and Dismantled (D) obstacles.

An obstacle classed as verified (V) meets the horizontal and vertical accuracy requirements outlined in PANS-AIM (ICAO Doc 10066) for electronic terrain, obstacle and aerodrome mapping information.

An obstacle classed as unverified (UV) is outside the horizontal and vertical accuracy requirements outlined in the PANS-AIM (ICAO Doc 10066) for electronic terrain, obstacle and aerodrome mapping information.
